Happy Mother’s Day

May 10, 2021

Reggie and I have been on adventures.  We are explorers and love to travel.  My son, Wayne, flew up and helped me drive down to Southern California to see my sister, Patricia, and my children/grandchildren.  Even though we talk often, it was so wonderful to be together without masks and all the distancing. There was a deeper appreciation and love for each other.  We each are aware that our time together is precious and short.

Then my daughter, Toni, helped me drive on to Surprise, AZ to see my sister, Barbara.  We had a great time, laughing, looking at new and pre-owned houses.  We went to Sedona and had lunch there.  It is such a beautiful, breathtaking area with the red rocks and energy vortexes.  We ate out at restaurants with no issues.  It was refreshing to be in open, progressive cities and state.  Surprise has a vibrancy and aliveness that was so enjoyable.  There are lots of new home being built as many people are moving from California to Arizona as well as other places.

I made a promise to Barbara that I would be there for her until she died.  I know that now is the time for me to move close to her.  So, I put an offer (which was accepted) on a home at 15222 W. Wildfire Drive, Surprise, AZ  85374.  The closing date is May 27.  You can reach me by my cell phone before and after I move.  If you do not have the number, email me at nancyawaldron@aol.com and I will give it to you.  I will not have a landline in Arizona.

I am listing the Auburn home for sale this week.  I am guessing this house will sell quickly as it is in excellent condition with upgrades, an Enchanted Garden, Mini-Forest, and Mini-Orchard.  Movers will come to pack on June 23, load on June 24, and unload in Surprise on June 26.  So, I will be living in Arizona as of June 26.

Reggie knows something is going on, is anxious at times as he sees me pack my crystals and other things.  Yet he knows I will always take him with me wherever we go.  I will miss Northern California and Mount Shasta, but know that Spirit will guide me to new joyful, enlightening people and places.

Thank all of you who have walked beside me on this journey in Auburn and Northern California.  I will miss seeing you in person, but know we will stay connected in whatever way is appropriate as we each continue our journeys.  God Bless Us All and this Nation.

Always, you are in my heart and soul, and my love, Light and prayers are with you.  Much Love, Nancy and Reggie

Fire Extinguisher and Shovel©

While traveling through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains a couple of years ago, someone had deliberately set several fires along Interstate 80.  People stopped to put out the fires with whatever they had in their cars.  The only thing I had in the car was a small fire extinguisher.  So, I stopped, rolled down the window, and handed the fire extinguisher out.  I told the man this might help a little.  Spirit guiding me to help even though it was a small token.

A day or so later, I read where all of the fires had been extinguished, thus preventing a massive fire that would have devastated this beautiful area.  That experience stayed with me for quite some time.  It comes back to me with all of the fires in California and elsewhere.

After seeing those fires a couple of years ago, I bought a large fire extinguisher for my car so I am better prepared to help.  Had others carried fire extinguishers in their cars, some of the current fires could have been prevented or reduced.  Spirit guiding me to take preventative measures to help myself and all.

Another thing I am going to put in the car is a camping or digging shovel to move dirt to cover a fire as well as for other purposes.  These are little things that I can do to that might make a big difference.  I have always carried a first aid kit, blankets, towels, and water when I go on errands around town or on a long trip.  I carry enough food and whatever I know will be needed on long trips for myself and Reggie.

Spirit continually guides me to be prepared to help myself as well as to be prepared for different situations.  This has served me well over my lifetime.  It seems more important now than ever.  When Spirit beckons, I listen, act, and say prayers that my preparations are adequate, yet won’t be needed.

Reggie reminds me that protecting him in situations is paramount.  He lets me know he needs me to watch out for him in so many ways.  He is small, has a loud bark, but runs to me when he is frightened.  Spirit opens me to his fragility and the importance of being prepared to take care of him in all situations.  Nancy and Reggie♥

Lake Tahoe Legacy©

Yesterday afternoon as I sat on the deck looking out over Lake Tahoe with the waves lapping up against the lake wall, I felt the immensity of Spirit in, on, and around this lake.  Its presence draws out a place in my soul that is so peaceful, so reverent, and so in awe of the incredible beauty and majesty of the mountains, the water, and the sky.  It changes me every time I visit.

I wanted to know specifics about the Lake, so checked on Wikipedia for the following paraphrased information.   Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, straddling the state line between California and Nevada.  It is the largest alpine lake in North America and at 122,160,280 acre-feet of water, trails only the five Great Lakes as the largest by volume in the United States.  Its depth is 1,645 ft making it the second deepest in the United States after Crater Lake in Oregon.  It is known for the clarity of its water and the panorama of surrounding mountains on all sides.  It is 22 miles long and 12miles wide with approximately 71 miles of shoreline.

Lake Tahoe is a major tourist attraction in both Nevada and California and is known throughout the United States.  It is home to winter sports, summer outdoor recreation, and scenery enjoyed throughout the year.  Snow and ski resorts are a significant part of the area’s economy and reputation.  The Nevada side also offers large casinos, with highways providing year-round access to the entire area.  This is Lake Tahoe’s tourist legacy; to me there is a more important legacy.

Lake Tahoe’s statistics are interesting, but that isn’t what changes me.  The Native Americans knew sacred places when they found them and Lake Tahoe is one for them and for me.  The lake allows people around it and on its waters, but it holds the presence of the sacred that is untouchable.  A vibration and frequency flows into and around my body when I first see the lake visually.  It stops me and give me pause as though entering the most holy place.

I want to spend days, weeks, months by Lake Tahoe as the peace of just hearing the water splash against the shore, feeling the breeze blow through the trees across the lake, and watching the sun create diamonds of light on the water takes me into a trans-like state where I drift off to my inner serene place.  The mountains seem to serve as a barrier to the busy, rushing outside world.  The sky above it is so vast, blue, and open that there seems to be an energy coming down into the lake as though it is surrounded by a vortex through which only love and harmony flow continuously.  It calls to one to let everything else go and just “be.”  Relaxing by the lake is like being cradled in the arms of angels floating on the water.

The presence of Lake Tahoe opens a place of love in me so great that I don’t have words for it, almost like being on The Other Side, such is the depth of feeling.  This love flows over into those around me as I feel unconditional love for them in my soul.  I see and feel their beauty in all ways and I am profoundly changed at depth with the love I perceive in them.

Spirit showing me Divine Love through Lake Tahoe and those around me.  My gratitude knows no bounds.  Lake Tahoe’s legacy for me and for Reggie, and I am guessing for others, is the presence of Divine Love offered through the water of the lake, the shores surrounding it, the magnificent sky above it, and the Spirits blessing all who enter this sacred pristine area.

Reggie loves Lake Tahoe also as he walks along the shore, sniffs all the new smells, and he, too, wants to stay and keep exploring as he feels so happy.  His happiness increases with all the love he receives from those around him.  He is content to just be adored.  We are so very blessed to experience this lake and this love.  Nancy and Reggie♥
