Worms©

It rained all day yesterday so Reggie and I did not walk.  This morning when it cleared up, we started out on our walk.  Just up the street I saw a large worm headed to the middle of the street.  I knew this worm would get run over or would cook on the asphalt when the sun came out, so I picked it up and took it back to the grass.  I saw several more worms of various sizes crawling at the edge of the street.  I took them all back to the grass, except for the very small ones.  I knew that I would injure or kill the very small ones if I tried to pick them up.  I felt sad to leave them, but said a prayer for their safety.

At times in my life I am like the worms, I get too far out and need help getting back in spiritual alignment.  Loving family, friends, and others have helped me get back to my spiritual center quickly.  I don’t stray far from that as I love the connection that feeds me in every way.  I say a prayer for everyone who is a little or a lot out of spiritual alignment as I know we all need a little help.

Reggie gets out of alignment when there are cats around.  He goes into a serious barking mode and lets me know he wants me to do something about the cats.  There is one cat down by the mail boxes that greets everyone when they pick up their mail.  After much encouragement and telling him the cat is our friend, Reggie is now lets the cat alone.  He does not bark when we get the mail and the cat is there.  Reggie has himself back in spiritual alignment which makes all happy.  Nancy and Reggie♥

Wee and Winged Ones©

We live close to two parks – one is a dog park/water overflow area and the other park has a swimming pool, tennis court, and playground for children.  When we walk by these parks, I let Reggie take his time and smell where all of his friends have been while I observe the life going on around me in the grass, trees, and bushes.

This morning on our walk, Reggie and I saw lots of tiny baby birds sitting at the tops of trees.  Bees were swarming the flowered bushes, and tiny insects were flying and crawling around.  The parks were alive with new life and growth.  All of the babies born in the Spring are coming out in the sun to see what this world is about.  I send them all Pure Divine Light and Love as I tell them thank you for letting me see them and feel their newborn energy.  As I talk to them some fly away or hide under a grass blade, while others sit and seem to enjoy our exchange.  They mirror parts of me – out on top, enjoying what is, and hiding.

Reggie and I are like the newborns coming out of winter, eager to see what Spring holds, and happy to be outside more with the fragrant smells, soft breezes, and the wonderland of growth within ourselves and everywhere.   A fresh lightness flows through me as I embrace all that is Spring.  Reggie runs and jumps around chasing his squirrels and those little ones that run under leaves and bushes.   We love the blessings of Earth’s different seasons.  Nancy and Reggie♥

Spring Day©

Walked in the bright morning sun!

Breathed in the clear blue of the sky!

The stillness of the air calmed me!

Visited with friends along the way!

Went barefoot on the freshly mowed green grass!

Watched Reggie do circles of happiness in the garden!

Heaven on Earth!   Nancy and Reggie♥
