Holidays©

Holidays are so wonderful and give us a reason to have a different experience.  St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, so tonight there is a Dinner-Dance at the Senior Center honoring the day.  I love to dance as I love music and my body becomes the dance.  It takes me to a plane of bliss and holds me there in utter joy.  As I move and twirl around the floor, I feel connected to the Cosmos and all therein, like the planets moving and twirling around in the vastness of space.  It is such a simple, freeing thing to dance whether at a formal dance, around the house, out on the porch, or in my mind.  It always takes me to a better place.

 

Reggie likes to dance also.  When I first got him, he used to dance around on his two back legs while I held a treat for him.  People are delighted when he dances around them when they first come in the door.  Their faces light up and they smile; he takes them to a happy place.  We are so blessed that we like to dance on holidays and every day.  Nancy and Reggie♥
