Technology Upgrades

Recently I upgraded my phone to a new one.  It was so easy as I did not have to do anything, except pay for it.  That too was already in place, so nothing was required except that I keep enough money in my bank account to have the payment automatically taken out.  Spirit smoothing the way for effortless upgrade through the preparation I made years ago.

I also upgraded to Netflix on my television which was a vastly different experience for one television and not so much for the other one.  This involved me calling Netflix, talking with the representative, giving information about the two different TVs I have – one is old and the other is new.  The representative was able to easily talk me through the steps for the new TV setup and operation.

The old TV needed a device for streaming which I had to go buy.  Then I had to install it on the back of the TV in a certain manner, make sure it was facing where the remote would be, and then try to operate it.  It did not work, so I called the manufacturer and they guided me through part of it.  Once the end of the representative’s knowledge of how to install was reached, he said I needed to call the TV manufacturer.  I said this was not necessary and that I would like to speak to the supervisor.  The supervisor came on the line, told me to try one other channel, and it worked perfectly.  Spirit urged me to go to the next level as I intuitively knew that it was something simple and I listened.

So now, I have a phone that works like a dream and television programs that are interesting and varied.  This is how Spirit works with me.  Upgrades are continuously being made effortlessly within and for me.  My responsibility is to listen.  If I do not understand the upgrade I am receiving, I ask for guidance from Spirit at the highest level so I am able to receive it clearly.

Such beautiful, easy ways of connecting with Spirit and taking me to ever more joyful and fulfilling places within myself and in my world.  I get Spirit Sparks all over me when I feel Spirit’s acknowledgement that I have correctly understood.  It is their way of touching and praising me.

Reggie gets upgrades from Spirit also when he is in dream time.  He is able to more easily respond to requests from me which makes him joyful and me grateful.  He is standing still now when I put on his walking vest, where he used to run around the room like it was a game of chase.  He gets lovingly and loudly praised verbally when he stands still.  He also gets a little caress of love on his head and side.  Upgrades, whether technology or Spirit, fill us with such gratitude, joy, and make each moment of each day easy.  Nancy and Reggie♥

Autumn

Autumn began September 22 and evoked some changes in me as it always does.  These changes come from Spirit through nature as I am so deeply connected to it.  The above photo is of Mount Shasta with the autumn trees.  Nature-Speak by Ted Andrews has such a beautiful description of what occurs within nature, and within me, that I quote the following:

The autumn forces become active, in a manner that triggers opportunities for transition.  Its energies create a time to determine new values and make new decisions.  It is the harvesting time for what has previously passed; a time for purifying the mind and to begin the process of transmuting that which needs transmuted. …Every day of the fall is the time of holy preparation.  Archangel Michael is associated with the autumn season.

During this time of the year, the energies can assist us in the following ways:

♥In purifying and transmuting the lower.

♥In overcoming obstacles and sewing new seeds

♥In opening the inner temples of awareness.

♥In cleansing and purifying the heart chakra, the seat of much karma.

♥In more easily turning our attention from the outer to the inner worlds, thus aligning with spirits of Nature and the angelic kingdom.

♥In determining what still needs to be transmuted for the greatest growth in the coming year.

♥In developing harmony between the laws of love and karma.

♥In initiating a time of weighing, measuring, determining values, and decisions for the physical and spiritual life of the individual.

♥In manifesting opportunities to reap the rewards of past sowing, and to sow seeds for the future.

In Ted Andrews’ book Animal-Wise, he provides the meaning of environments which gives me the opportunity to gain even greater insight into their role within my life, so I quote the following:

♥Deserts:  hidden life; adaptation; ability to use resources available; hardiness and struggles; purification.

♥Forests:  primal feminine; growth free of controls and constrictions; the unconscious mind; magnifying of creative forces.

♥Gardens:  Nature in miniature and controlled; abilities to create and nurture life; the opening of doors  to Nature.

♥Lakes and Ponds:  opening to the spirit world; an oasis; nourishment of body, mind and spirit.  Help us tap new waters within ourselves.  Enable us to bring forth the magic within the waters of our own being.

♥Marshland:  emotional stages of life; bringing fresh air into the emotional life; decomposition and new growth.

♥Meadows:  abundance and fertility; balance of life; place of silent and soft growth; nourishment.

♥Mountains:  power and loftiness of spirit; discovering our own spiritual powers; outward expressing and assertiveness; overcoming obstacles for spiritual attainment; communion with spirits

♥Oceans:  the subconscious mind and the primal feminine; the womb, mother, and woman; new tides and depths of possibilities.

♥Plains:  openness and freedom; journeys to new homes and possibilities; sensitivity and exposure to new winds and to subtle changes.

♥Rivers:  creation and the flow of time; gatherings for quenching thirst (spiritual or physical); process of evolution at play; past and future at play.

♥Valleys:  fertility and new life; a neutral zone for developing our creativity; mythical home of priest and priestess.

In looking at the moves in my life, I went from the plains to the mountains, to the desert by the ocean, to the mountains with forests, lakes, meadows, rivers, and valleys, to the coastal mountains with the forests and ocean close, again to the desert, then back to the mountains with forests, lakes, meadows, rivers, and valleys.  In each place I have had a garden around my house or as many pots with ferns and flowers as the porch would hold.  As I write this, I feel such love from these places enfold me that it brings tears to my eyes at the tenderness with which I am held.  They are so grateful that I recognize them and embrace the sacred gifts they so generously give.  Spirit is reflected to me and all in so many reverent and magical ways through Nature.

With autumn, activities that I have been doing for the last three years are changing.  For a while, I am stopping everything, just to allow myself to become still and see what Spirit brings for me.  It is holy and sacred to me to just be with Spirit each moment to listen without the busyness of doing.  I enter the inner temples to purify, transmute, and open in a deeper, clearer way.  I emerge with a wholeness that is soft, simple, and genuine.

Autumn is the time I feel the strong call to go to Mount Shasta as I immerse myself with all of nature there communing with Spirit.  A peace embraces every part of my Beingness like the end of day in the valleys.  This peace renews me in ways that nothing else does as I traverse the meadows, marshlands, lakes, rivers, forests, and mountains of that area.  I am infused with the love of Spirit that is like first morning rays of the sun peeking over the mountain.  At day’s end, the cool breezes flow through the darkening forests to bless and caress me with their gentle touch, their fragrant smells, and the sounds of all moving into stillness for the night.  Just as it becomes dark, I like to walk into the edge of the forest just to be in the silence as it opens up a space that becomes so still when I am there.  It welcomes and invites me to bask in its presence.  It is a magical time together with the forest and all therein.

Like the leaves falling off the trees, I lay down the cares of life and say a prayer of gratitude to Spirit for the many gifts to me, known and unknown.  Like the trees, this is a time to rejoice in all that I created in the past and trust that the seeds planted during autumn  will flourish in the future.  I watch a leaf float by me from the Headwaters of the Sacramento River and wonder where it will go.  Spirit will take it to where it can become different and thus help another to grow.  I see me in the leaf.

Oh, how I love nature with all of its seasons and reasons, and how grateful I am that I have such a deep connection to it that fills my life with meaning in ways that uplift to create a mystical and magical world.  The photo below is of trees in the City of Mount Shasta.  Thank you Spirit!

Reggie loves autumn also as he bounds in the leaves that fall from the trees, flinging them up in the air as he looks for wee ones to chase.  He gets so excited when we go to Mount Shasta as there is so much new for him.  He likes the cooler weather when he walks along the rivers and lakes.  The forests have so many wonderful different smells and sounds that draw him.  Being on leash in the forest and along the rivers and lakes hampers his explorations, but he trusts that I keep him safe for a reason.  He is happy just to be in this beautiful sacred place.  Autumn with Spirit in nature wherever we are blesses each of us in ways known and unknown, and we delight in the mystery.  Nancy and Reggie♥

Beauty and Magic of Moving

There is a beauty and magic to moving from one place to another whether it be inside oneself, in a town, or to a different city, state, or country.  Moving brings forth a sense of grief at leaving the previous people, place, ways, and known things.  It brings forth a sense of excitement of discovering the new people, place, ways and unknown things.  It brings forth the magic of knowing that Spirit is opening and expanding me and others to new experiences, food, scenery, weather, roads, ways of speaking, ways of being, and customs of tradition.  I have moved thirteen times in my life to, from, or within these states:  Oklahoma, Colorado, California (Several), Oregon, and Nevada.

It all began when my parents moved our family from Oklahoma to Colorado Springs, Colorado when I was around 12 years old.  I grieved leaving all of my relatives in Oklahoma, the places I had known since birth, my school friends, and the sense of security I felt with all of that.  I not only grieved leaving, it made me mad because I wanted to stay where I felt loved and where I loved.  Spirit teaching me early to follow where I was lead – if I was willing.

At the same time, it was exciting to think about living by Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains with all of the beauty of the land.  We had one family from our home town with two girls about our ages who lived in Colorado Springs when we moved there, so we knew someone.  We lived in a rental house down the street from our friends, so started our lives with people we knew.  It wasn’t the same as the love of my relatives, but if was the love of friends.  Spirit provided a bridge of comfort between the life we left and our new life.

This move established a pattern for my life.  We immediately became members of the church, involved ourselves in all of its activities, and I found a social life through the youth and other groups.  With each move throughout the years, my first connection was with a church, my anchor with Source.  A spiritual foundation of a strength and depth that helped me weather life’s challenges.  One which was as innately mine from birth as was breathing.

Other patterns were established during this move.  Friends became my family, as I lived away from the family the majority of my life. I was close by phone, but friends were close physically.  The early moves to furnished apartments were exploring myself and learning what I wanted moves.  There was such beauty in moving to a new apartment, new area, new neighbors and so forth.  My reasons varied from I wanted to live within walking distance from the ocean, I needed a cheaper place to live, I wanted a bigger apartment in a nicer area, to I wanted to be close to work.  Later in my life, with each move I would go inside myself before the move to be sure this was what Spirit was calling me to do.

Moving gave me the opportunity to be different, for people to experience me in a different way.  It also gave the new people an opportunity to be different.  Growing up in a small town early in life was a revelation of how everyone is viewed the same even though they may have changed over the years.  In a large city like Los Angeles and the Metropolitan area, or in a different city or state, people you meet accept you as you are now.  The only past they know is what you tell them.  Spirit was providing me the opportunity to anchor in changes to my Being with the moves to maintain the beauty of my growth more easily.

After my two near death experiences, I could see that other work was being done in the areas in which I lived, and the states and countries through which I traveled.  The incredible magic Spirit showed me of the work amazed and humbled me.  Others’ opinions of my moves disappeared as I witnessed the results of the paths I traveled.  With Spirit’s guidance along the way, simple words I said, smiles, a soft touch, a wave, a card, call, or text, a gift, a ride, anger expressed as well as the Light, energy, vibration, and frequency activating, initiating, uplifting, and expanding in amazing ways and places had made a difference.

A life’s spiritual purpose, totally different from what I thought it was, revealed to me the beauty and magic of moving.

Reggie has only had two moves, one from North Las Vegas, Nevada to Upland, California, then from Upland to Auburn.  He doesn’t like the long rides in his kennel or car seat on these moves, but he loves to hang his head out the window when we slow down to feel the breeze blow as he greets other drivers, dogs, and takes in the beauty of the scenery.  He carries a spiritual beauty within him that radiates out to those who are open and loving every place we move.  He longed for a home, so when I moved him to my home, he brought so much beauty and magic.  Spirit gave us the beauty of moving to each place, of growing within ourselves and assisting in ways anticipated and not anticipated, and of loving each other no matter where we move.  Divine Order is always creating magic in our world and we are grateful.  Nancy and Reggie♥
